I've flown this flight a couple of times (covering BA1,2 and 4) and really like it. A notch above normal CW certainly. But I would probably prefer New F from LHR due to the 747 and Concorde Room, but the A318 for everything else.
In particular
- OnAir is great
- bring your own IFE
- Food ex-JFK is actually from the F menu served on F china...lobster, duck etc.
- Make use of the concierge service at LCY if you have checked luggage (drop it at the front door)
- a steal at 100k miles + HORRIFIC BRITISH AIR FEES
A nice touch is the London City cocktail just before landing at JFK. Just what you need when you're travelling with a friend who's never flown business class and you've spent the last 9 hours drinking heavily...
