Not in my experience. When I did this flight (with two other passengers) 3 weeks ago, servings for both lunch and afternoon tea were very small leaving us all hungry. Lunch is also a bit strange, as you get a (miniscule) first course en route from LCY to Shannon, then only a main course plus dessert or cheese around 3.30 after leaving Shannon. Afternoon tea was three tiny sandwiches plus scones which appeared to be only half the normal size for BA. Quality was OK but nothing very different from CW. Apart from this, an excellent flight and well worth trying.
