I had exactly the same problem last week (just after my stay): my stay didn't show up on my Hilton account; my next reservation didn't show up anymore; and Luxembourg had stopped to exist for Hilton purposes. It seems that this was an IT problem at Hilton and now everything seems fine again... (?)
Just returned from my second stay there and again it was very pleasant. I took the local bus from the city centre (EUR 1.50) that conveniently stops about 150 m away from the Doubletree. I received another upgrade (actually, the same room as I had a week ago). Eggs cooked to order at breakfast just require a bit of initiative (you have to ask for them).
The airport shuttle is rather inflexible for the direction to the airport: when I arrived at the airport a week ago, they picked me up individually; but this morning, for the other direction, there were fixed times for an airport dropoff, and there was no scheduled shuttle between 9:15 and 11:15.
While the location is much less interesting than that of, say, the Best Western, the Mercure, the Novotel or the Sofitel (in the city centre), I think that I'd book the DT again if I have to go to Luxembourg again.
