Virgin or SAA to J'Burg
I have a little dilemma:

I have about 500k Diamond Club points and my Gold card renewal period starts on the 9th August.

I will be taking 6 business class returns LHR - J'Burg from the 9th August. I have the option of SAA Business or Virgin Upper which are the same price with our corporate rates. However, we get Virgin Gold with only 4 returns.

Should I:
  • Fly SAA and collect the points on my BMI Gold and get the renewal sorted
  • Fly Virgin and get the Virgin Gold card and some Virgin points
  • Fly Virgin and collect DC points, in order to get the free Virgin limos etc.

What do you think? Is the service on SAA similar to Virgin? Is it worth piling more miles into DC?
