. I'll echo the above poster; my one visit to CCR was great, but I also believe airport food, no matter how nice a lounge it's served in, is still airport food, and hence I set my expectations accordingly.
All my CCR experiences have been fine, however "airport food, no matter how nice a lounge it's served in, is still airport food" makes no sense. If you try the LH FCT at FRA or JFK or CX F lounge in HKG you would definitely know it is possible to serve good food in an airport. LX in ZRH also does a good job, and so does AF F at CDG.
