maybe its just me but the only time I really care about the Hotel itself is if its a true resort, eg Kauai where most likely Id be spending a good deal of the time at The Hotel itself

was just in Tokyo stayed night 1 &3 at The Conrad and night 2 at the Courtyard. I actually got more out of the CY since it was like a non-casino hotel in Vegas, easy in & out , while the Conrad was further from the subway, 2 different elevators and a hassle getting in & out. Sure the C was alot more expensive and alot more Luxury to it, but I was hardly there, was glad I didnt use any $$ or pts but 2 3QFNs

now if a person will be entertaining others at their hotel or planning to eat at the restaurants there and wants to charge it to the room, thats something else, other wise if theres another hotel that will cost me less pts to stay at Bingo I have a winner

I dont look to get every cent I can out of my Hotel Pts or Miles. Id rather get less of a savings and be somewhere I want to be with things I like to do
