For those of you with points reservations, the 75% of rooms which the owners refused to let Westin to continue to operate (after their derisory offer) are now for sale at NZ$99 per night via:

In other words, even Toronto1970's five night stay would only cost NZ$495, which is the cost of one night when the place operated as a Westin.

I have mixed memories of this property. I probably had around 6 or 7 short stays, and got annoyed by the closure of the lounge.
