The t&c of your ticket are to fly the route you purchased. If you don't, you've violated the t&c and you are liable for the fare due and payable. If your ticket is AAA-BBB-CCC-BBB-AAA and you don't board the last leg, you will owe them cash for the applicable (walkup full Y CCC-BBB fare). If you have misused your FF account, it is subject to closure and by its t&c you have agreed that the miles have no dollar value and therefore you have no action you can bring.
You may or may not like it, but if you read the t&c of the award ticket and the FF account you will see that you agreed in writing to those conditions. So like or don't like and fair or not fair don't matter.
