Does anyone know if I can simply register for the DL offer now and get the 50k miles without having to deposit another $100k? I seem to remember reading that worked for somebody who registered for the DL promo immediately after but I cannot find that post anymore now that the threads were merged.
I'm in the process of doing the same. Only difference is that I received both AA and DL in the past (years ago), and I'm doing it for both my and my wife's accounts. MR posted similarly to yours, waiting to see the DL outcome.
It's actually prompting me to reallocate some investments to Fidelity, so the promo is working as intended for Fidelity in our case.
