I would also expect it to handle domestic flights, from Bangkok to both Chiang Mai and Phuket, just as the 747's do.

IIRC, there was alot of talk of using the 380 on the high frequency domestic routes. However, I sure don't look forward to the bus gate (docked at international gate, being used for domestic flight) for 500 passengers.
