I think you might have missed the point. For reasons of liability this and insurance that we end up functioning completely backwards. Why is it OK to ID those who are quite obviously senior citizens? Why is it ok for pressure from insurance companies (corporate greed) to prevail over common sense?
Wow, and that wasn't even written during "drinking hours"

I'll admit that there is a line when it is quite clear someone is of age, but sadly as a society we are too uptight in this country when it comes to drinking. For those of us who clearly look over 21, I think we can all rest assured that if we're asked for ID there is probably some store/company policy requiring it. If we're truly offended we can always find another liquor store for future purchases.
