It has a Visa logo with the "Debit" wording on the card I received. I thought it is just like the gift card you can buy from the supermarket, etc.

Although it has a expiration date on the card, I didn't think too much of it as gift cards don't expire in California but didn't realize there are so many tricks to get the consumers.
