I can get lost in my own city, so when I travel I always need maps and usually need to ask directions (yes, I'm a man, I don't care if I look like an idiot). On the plus side, I've learned how to ask, "How do I get to...?" in several different languages, but I still feel like an incompetent hick. How do you others cope?
