I completely agree with that! Italian airports lack of services at any given level.
The lounge we are talking about is called I Mosaici and it is used by many carriers. It is probably one of the few with windows and some natural lighting, beside that food and beverages are really basic.
You have to ask things making people feel like they were making you a big favor...but that is the italian way.
Unfortunately there is no better than this and I guess LH or LX doesn't have too much choice.
