Be Special to get treated Special

First asking for special treatment in Hawaii reminds of the lady who complained they didn't let families with children board early in Orlando, to which the GA said after she left "everyone here is a family with Children, it's freaking DisneyWorld".

The only time I have had extra special treatment at a honeymoon hotel is when I called the hotel ahead of time to speak to someone about arranging a special meal for our anniversary.

From the moment we arrived, they treated us special even though we were one of many celebrating special occasions.

The hotel is inundated with everyone asking for a freebee. Spend a couple of bucks and you will be surprised by the special treatment.

Being a Platinum and expecting a free upgrade does not make you any different from the 100 other Platinum who checked in that week.

Being a Platinum who is willing to spend a few bucks will put you in a different category. And if it is a special occasion, the make it special yourself.

You would be surprised how inexpensive and creative some of the things they could do.
For instance, if your wife likes to cook, ask if they can arrange for a private cooking class with the chef, something like that.
