Humira and International Travel

Has anyone had experience with bringing Humira in your carry-on bag? A family friend will be traveling from EWR to LHR and then on to FCO. There is about eighteen hours of direct travel, and then she is not sure of the facilities where she is going. She will need to bring a three months supply of Humira (about 12-15 doses), which comes in a prepackaged injector which must remain refrigerated.

My concerns are these:
1. Will TSA give her problems boarding with 15 needles?
2. Any likelihood of British Airways allowing her to store the meds in a refrigerator onboard?
3. Any tips on how to keep the med cold without running afoul of TSA? To be safe, I would figure that in needs to stay cold for twenty-four hours straight.

Thanks!
