AC has an extensive Carribean network ex-YYZ and YUL, including Cuba. But it is unlikely the south Atlantic will be linked very soon. Airlines are already losing money by the bucket, and there is certainly little enough traffic to support such a service. And since it can only be a route operated by Varig or SA, I suspect there is a strong economic reason why they pool this service.
