So, I've booked a flight from Houston to Anguilla for our honeymoon using my reward miles (70k miles... 35k each way)

We go from Houston to San Juan, Puerto Rico then a small plane with Cape Air over to Anguilla. Everything was good when I booked it but then I got the itinerary and it didn't have the Cape Air connecting flight, so all I have are tickets from Houston to San Juan Puerto Rico.

Well, Continental said it messed up and offered to refund my miles saying they can't get me a ticket for the connecting flight with Cape Air (even though they're partners?)

Anyone ever experience a similar scenario? Bleh sucks because booking that flight through Cape Air is like $650 round trip per person
