Miles (hahaha... miles) better than the old Amex Gold, which was pretty much a Green card with Gold paint.
Of the other highly-ranked credit cards on that list, I'd say the Avion and Amex SPG are both great. I don't really rate the Aspire because I prefer airline miles. I'm disappointed the BoA/MBNA Alaska Airlines card didn't make the cut because I think it's a great choice for anyone living in Alberta/BC, especially with the low 75$ annual fee.
For the non-points method.. Avion has been highly touted.. I used to have the Avion.. but prefer getting my travel in miles currency..
Did get a garbage can from Avion.. best garbage can "Umbra" I've ever had..
My wife carries Amex Plat.. partly because of the 50K bonus, and the Fairmont Plat 5 promo.. will have to evaluate for next year..
