When was your ticket booked? My recollection is BA has up the YQ/YR a few times since 2010.

Because last night I have priced some R/T coach JFK-HKG-TPE, or BKK or SIN, as an experiment for a friend, the taxes all came to close to $400. Airlines involved included JL, CX, and in one case RJ route through AMM as options offered up by BA site.
