It's mainly a business location and my planned stay is Sunday. Rates are low and the reviews I have seen suggest occupancy is low at weekends.

I mean 'should' as in, if executive rooms are available, then they 'should' upgrade me, or usually would?

The terms seem to say that if one is available, then they will upgrade me. But I am used to Priority club platinum - their terms say something similar and they often don't upgrade, even if the hotel is barely occupied.

But, even if there are no executive rooms, the terms say they will upgrade me to a better room, so I 'should' get at least a standard queen?
