looks like bad reporting (actually terrible reporting ), from another report i read (which was only slightly better than the link provided), it seemed like wake turbulence caused the flight to veer off (or plummet) putting it in the path of another aircraft

also it appears that this was not immediateky after take off - close to Patna on way to Guwahati so would be close to half the flight..... i guess that's why an pax was in the washroom with the infant

anyone has better information?
