very long-haul advice from FB regulars
I booked a premium voyagers trip for the fall.
Starting in DCA on DL but flying ATL-CDG-BKK(2 day stopover)-PNH(a week)-BKK-CDG(2 day stopover)-ATL-DCA(DL).
Pleased with the total price (about $2400) and the miles I'll be earning -- should keep me diamond with DL for another year.
I've selected 23H on the trans-Atlantics and 11H on the Asian flights -- would I be better on the front of back rows of PV?
Also, I have an 11 hour layover at CDG on the outbound. I've found some day rooms at CDG for about USD$100. Or thinking I could just go in to Paris for the day -- or would welcome suggestions of somewhere closer to leave the airport for a few hours.
Any other suggestions are appreciated.
