Couldn't you have had someone FedEx, DHL, or UPS the keys to you at your hotel overseas?

I mean, if we are talking a single key, it could go at the letter rate.

And I assumed you are on at least a week-long trip? So even if you could get 4 day service to India, so be it.

Also, beyond the Continental lost & found form, try contacting any and all airports you transited through on your way. You may have taken your keys out at security, and left them there, or they could have fallen out in the terminal.
Thanks - I just called up the airports I went through and informed them. The ones I spoke to didn't have it and the New Delhi airport had me send them an email so it was on record.

As for the shipping issue... I think the problem for me is that I leave on Monday and at the time of the post, it was Friday morning in the US, Friday evening in India. I had about a 48 hour window to receive it in, because I fly Monday. I didn't really think about it, but now that I check, it's $120 for the next international flight delivery choice. They can only guarantee Monday 8PM in India, which is too late at this point, but maybe the story would have been different a few hours ago had I pursued this option.
