I just booked award trip to hawaii last week. I was planning to fly out of MEM to KOA. But being award trip and popular destination there were only 4 ticket remaining left but not from MEM but DFW to LAX to KOA. There were only 2 ticket for MEM to DFW I needed 4. So I made the decision I would drive to DFW then fly from there. The funny thing is I could see out bound flight from MEM to DFW to LAX to KOA with 7 seat available but nothing in bound on BA site. I called to book the agent could not see 7 seat from MEM to DFW. Long story short we ended up booking the trip from DFW. I am 7 hours away from DFW. Now there are 7 seat available from MEM to DFW leg of trip. Is there any way I can get away from change of reservation fee. I tried to change it online but cannot do it tell me to call BA office.
