I just checked into the Guam Hilton and received a notice that the executive lounge opening time for breakfast has changed effective July 23, from 7 am to 730 am to "comply with the Hilton Brand Standards Worldwide."

Unfortunately for me, I am here on business and need to leave the hotel at 730 for work. I expressed my concerns that as a diamond, I could no longer get a free breakfast and with difficulty was given vouchers for the breakfast buffet at the Islander terrace Restaurant which opens at 6 am.

My question to the experienced posters on FT is about these "Worldwide Standards." Is anyone familiar with other executive lounge opening times in the Hiltons elsewhere. I come here about 4 times a year and the lounge/breakfast benefit is one of the reasons I chose this hotel.
