The problem with scoring hotels on their F&B is that we are not lauding the hotel, but the chef and the F&B director, so if one or both leave, then everything can go downhill, which happens very often in my experience.

Conversely, standards can rocket when one chef leaves and another joins.

There are a few properties that seem to manage to ride the tide of departing chefs, but it is not always the case.
