I can see them not wanting to accept deliveries for customers -- they're not exactly setup for this type of service like a hotel or large building might be.

Rudeness, of course, is not appropriate. Then again, I tend to give the CO co-workers a bit of leeway here. After all, they've been repeatedly told by management for two decades now how great they are, so a bit of cockiness is to be expected when dealing with a workforce like that.
