I'm not sure why you're losing your exit row seats. It sounds pretty strange -- I haven't had any issues and I haven't heard of anyone on FT or friends/colleagues having the same problem.

I would not expect that someone at CO is purposely taking you out of your seat so they can sell it to someone for $89. I think it's a little unfair for you to say that CO is surreptitiously taking away confirmed exit row seats because you 'think' someone has an agenda to take yours.

As an aside, if you're a Gold on a B fare -- why are you not auto upgrading yourself to F when you buy your ticket?

BTW....I am at 90% on that "so called" benefit of unlimited domestic upgrades for the year.
