As I recall, many of the * lounges are together at Tom Bradley terminal at LAX in some hard to locate hidey hole.
I visited the Varig one in October, and it is run-down 1970s look dump. (Makes RCC look classy even.

) I recall that SQ and TG and maybe even ANA were right alongside, or a few were anyway, but none were open at time I was there. Mexicana oddly has nothing at all and they fly out of Bradley, indeed I was on MX. Naturally UA has the usual Aeroflot design glamour palaces if you feel like a long walk or bus ride to their terminals. The only exercise equipment you'll find at a RCC is the pay via credit card fax machine, or the "hand over your wallet for a drink buddy" type stuff. Walking around any RCC looking for a complete newspaper after 6.01 am serves as useful exercise - it is a fruitless pursuit of course, but it gets your heart pumping!
Oh, and of course, despite enduring 24 hours of flying, do not even DREAM of RCC having a shower you might use in a major It'l hub, in the 50 gerzillion dollar remodel they just opened. Heaven forbid! I did GIG/GRU to SYD this month, also 24 hours or whatever, and sure wished they had them.
