I wouldn't be surprised if AA ends up selling some of its orders/options to other airlines.

That above-mentioned outcome would have a great chance to be true if the market for these services was defined as a free marketplace with truly unfettered competition; however, the marketplace for this industry is not like that. I'm expecting that real prices for the service won't really go down below what prevails today.
