I don't think orders for A320s and 737s will lead Airbus and Boeing to stop innovating, and thus stop selling the bigger jets. I imagine this will probably constrain the manufacturer's ability to supply, but shouldn't stop it altogether.

I'm not an industry insider, so correct me if I'm wrong.
