I'm sorry you weren't offered admission, paid or otherwise; that must have been frustrating. Your experience, however, doesn't mean the lounge should be avoided. If anything, it's nice to know they are holding to who and who shouldn't be admitted. The *A lounge at DXB is crowded enough on the evenings. Kudos to them for doing what is in their limited power and ability to make it a decent experience.
