I was in London the other day and took the Heathrow Express from Paddington station to LHR. Besides that the express is not really an express anymore as the goverment introduced heavy speed limits after several accidents I was really angry about the check in facilities at Paddington station. *A has quite a few check in counters but of course there were just 2 open - no business, first or star silver/gold counter. I had a woman in front of me that checked in 11 (!) people. All without baggage but it took forever. When it was finally my turn there were just 1h 55 m left until the flight and they refused to check me in as they need 2 hours to get my suitcases to the plane. I was really angry as I think that in a train station they should give priority to pax with baggage or am I just being silly here?
