They actually do that is why I do not understand what you are saying. If you are spending that kind of cake you can get status for yourself if you talk to the right person. Hell if you spend a bit more you can get status for you and your employees. If you are spending that kind of cake I would be shocked if they are not already talking to you. They absolutely seek out and try to retain HVC. My problem is that $50 k ain't a HVC to THEM.
