Your time is precious, as is mine, so I'm not going to waste it being slowed down because I started a fight I know I cannot win. Sounds to me like there is no upside for the passenger other than making some schmuck mad and getting the full treatment for "suspicious demeanor" or “irritating jerk” (both amount to the same really). I think I would prefer to not start that fight, I would prefer the flight.

Unfortunately, a polite note to the good folks at the TSA does not get the point across. An ugly scene at the checkpoint sometimes does (and the odds are increased if the YouTube video winds up at Drudge.) I'll let you decide what that says about the agency.
