i do need to go to seoul. my trip is really LAX-ICN-LAX but i wanted to try to fit in china. rather than book a separate seoul to beijing and shanghai vacation, i was wondering if there was a more creative way to do this via miles.

i'm thinking that i may be able to do something like

LAX-NRT(transfer)-ICN(stopover)-PEK and then open jaw PVG-ICN(transfer)-LAX

book my own cheap flight PEK-shanghai

I guess my second ICN would have to be a transfer since i can't do another stopover right?
