I used to work for an IT company who's CEO was recently found to be ignoring most of the ethics policies whilst preaching adhereance to the masses (and therefore resigned)
Therefore, I totally advocate anything that gets you what you want and the company can decide whether it likes it and you can decide whether there will be consequences.
As a result of a lot of flying in Y I went to my doc and said my shoulder hurt (which it did) and flying in Y was probably not helping. I asked her to write me a note sayng that my shoulder was a problem, aggrivated by long periods of flying and that flying J would help. The Doc agreed but she can no more "tell" the company I have to fly J than I could but if my "injury" got worse then you could always consider a claim against the company.
Upside, I got to fly J
Downside, none for me but the company might consider you are now to expensive to fly around, not worth the risk of a medical related lawsuit etc etc.
So, go for it and don't fall for the moralists on here who think your company has your best interests at heart or somehow you are engaging in fraud!
