We've stayed several one night stays here recently and have received several upgrades, such as a suite and cool corner room. The latter was more impressive than a suite on a lower floor. Most recently have not received any upgrade, even though suites were being sold on spg.com. Front desk explained "two people were going to move to those suites from their current rooms". Bad experience with wi-fi as well as with TIvoli ipod dock. The former extremely weak, and drops periodically, the latter flat out does not work. Power outlets by the bed positioned directly behind the side table, and cannot be used unless the table gets dislocated. Worse at night I could feel cigarette smoke coming from somewhere. Front desk explained that 18th floor is a smoking floor, and being just below it probably meant that smoke just seeped through the vents, or ceiling. Beware about staying close to the 18th floor!
