No, there is not "loads of legroom" like you say. This seat positively SUCKS. It's so bad that they should have given me a $100 DISCOUNT to take it. Not only is there no window, but the belly of the door at the bottom actually intrudes into your legroom, and the wall protrudes, causing one to have to angle their legs towards the passenger seated next to you- a TOTAL nightmare. But nothing I can say will convince you as much as a picture will, have a look:

As far as checking this out BEFORE I booked it, my only crime was to actually believe the Cathay Pacific rep, rather than have relied on myself.
