I actually found a picture of the EXACT seat that I paid $100 extra for, have a look:

As you can see EVERYTHING that I was afraid of came EXACTLY true. The door DOES protrude into my legroom area, and there is NO window at all (like you said).
You know I'm starting to feel that I should have gotten a $100 DISCOUNT for taking this seat. I'm REALLY pissed-off.
