1. There is no window next to the seat. The closest window in front of you will be in the exit door, but it's not really feasible to look out that.
2. Not for this exit door, which is flush with the wall. But this is an issue for the A and K seats at the other coach exit row on this plane.
Many think the lack of a window is an advantage -- you can lean up against the wall to sleep. And they often ask everyone to close the blinds anyway.
