Stopover Question
Hello,
I am looking to do a reward flight using *A from JFK > Oslo > Zagreb > JFK. From doing a search in this forum, I saw that someone mentioned Oslo as a hub for SK airlines, a member of *A. I also understand, from my reading, that one stopover is allowed on a reward flight by *A as long as the airline that flies you into the stopover city has a hub in that city.
That being said, would the process for booking the above itinerary with miles go something like this?
1) Find a standalone award flight that gets me from JFK to Oslo.
2) Find a standalone award flight that gets me from Oslo to Zagreb.
3) Call up *A or a member airline and tell them the flight numbers and dates, cite the one stopover rule, and make a booking?
Is there something more complex than the above list of steps that I am missing? Anything else to keep in mind when looking for flights that would qualify?
Thank you very much for your help.
