From the SQ timetable, 26 March to 28 October 2000, page 17:

Krisflyer Elite Gold.
Earn 50000 credited flight miles in any class with Singapore Airlines, Silk Air or a Star Alliance carrier within a 12-month period ... and you'll attain KrisFlyer Elite Gold status. You'll enjoy all the benefits of KrisFlyer Elite Silver plus Silver Kris Lounge access . ... What's more, as a Star Alliance Gold member you enjoy complimentary lounge access to over 250 lounges around the world.

So SQ allow their members into the other *A members' Gold lounges but NOT vice versa!
