I have doubts as to whether you will get miles on the Kendell flights unless you are trying to accure the miles onto an AN account.

I'm under the impression that you will get miles on other Star programs if the flight is ticketed with a *A flight number AND operated by a *A carrier. In other words, flying BNE-AKL on an AN flight number with the flight operated by NZ will earn miles with other Star programs while flights operated by non-Star carriers would not.
