* RTW fares permit backtracking. The limitation is the MPM (maximum permitted milage).

My take is that finishing the itinerary with

SIN - MAN - JNB - FRA is fine.

However, MAN - JNB - MAN is not, because (correct me if I'm wrong), * RTW fares do not permit repeat stopovers in the same city.
