Ahhh yes, didn't look at the seat map that carefully. Yeah there's no wall so it's wide open which is good for tall people... thankfully I'm short so doesn't really matter.

The big draft back is row 31 is next to lavatories so you always have people hanging around waiting which can be a little annoying.

Yeah, I confirmed with Cathay that my One World Ruby (AA Gold) will get the fee waived... but rather stay in my window seat so I can at least sleep again a wall .

I guess I can always hope for a Op-Up, but believe LAX->HKG is a popular flight so wishful thinking...
