I've stayed at the RC on points the last two Easters prior to this year ('09 & '10). Since we had the use of the Marriott pool, we sent our son over there to the tubing river and he had a great time. Both the pool and tubing river are very impressive. Ideal for keeping kids entertained and very well-supervised.

The Marriott certainly appears to be an excellent property. Frankly, I'd take it over the RC....which is not to minimize or disparge the RC in any way. I've eaten at the poolside bar/grill. Good food and not-too-outrageous prices....at least by Marriott resort standards. Lobby bar is convivial, lively and (IIRC) similar to the poolside bar/grill in offerings and prices. Don't know about the other restaurants although the Citron strikes me as too pretentious for my tastes. Others may like it, however.

As for the Ritz, it's attached and on the same grounds. Very nice, great service, classy, etc. The Easter brunch there was absolutely phenomenal. I definitely enjoyed the place, but on balance, and as I previously alluded to, I personally prefer a more casual atmosphere.
