I was just reading a report on the Wall Street Journal site that the Lufthansa's Chairman of the Board announced that five airlines would be joining Star in 2000.

We already know Austrian, Mexicana, and Singapore ... that leaves two more open.

He mentioned specifically they were looking towards Eastern Europe and China, and particularly China.

As I've said before ... I really think that at some point these Alliances are going to get too big, and at 13 you've got to start wondering ...
