Maybe STAR has enough on its plates at the moment with the Austrian Group coming over, and the AC/UA/LH bids for the Canada market.

But STAR better come up with something new soon. The promos were all hot and fast when STAR was first formed. Every STAR member had a promo to welcome members to their one world alliance (pardon the pun).

The oneworld clan seemed to have won over current STAR go'ers (myself included) to switch groups. This year alone, my travels on STAR airlines have dropped by 50% with my revenue going to OneWorld carriers. Thus, next year, I go from SE on AC to E. From Diamond on AN to no status.
